Day 1. (Monday) – LISBOA|
Individual arrival at Lisbon airport. Assistance on
arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight. Free time at leisure.
DAY 2 (Tuesday) – LISBOA
Breakfast at the hotel. Join a morning panoramic city tour of Lisbon passing through the Alfama district,
the old Moorish quarter, birthplace of St. Anthony, the Belem Tower
symbol of LISBOA and the Geronimo’s Monastery. Afternoon at leisure.
Possibility of an optional tour to see the 3 most visited towns on the
outskirts of LISBOA, Sintra world Heritage Town, Cascais and Estoril.
Overnight in Lisbon.
DAY 3 (Wednesday) – LISBON – CACERES – MADRID
Breakfast at hotel. Departure towards the Spanish border and continue to
Caceres, a historic city and World Heritage Site. With it’s architecture
dating back from the 14th and 16th centuries this town is a jewel, one of
the 3 best conserved medieval towns in Europe. Free time to walk around the Plaza Mayor and
the old medieval district and lunch on your own. In the afternoon we will continue to Madrid
DAY 4 (Thursday) – MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel
then join a morning, panoramic city tour with local guide, where we will see
the old and new town, ,the Cibeles Square with its charming fountains, the
Gran Via Avenue, to end Orient Square, etc. We will make a stop at the
Senorial Retiro Park and the Ventas Bull Ring. Free time to take some
photos, then continue to the Columbus Square, where we will have a
soft-drink. Afternoon at leisure to explore Madrid or join an optional
excursion to Medieval Toledo, once the most populous city of Europe
during the Middle Ages.
DAY 5 (Friday) – MADRID
and overnight. Day at leisure to explore Madrid on your own or to join a
tour to visit the El Escorial
palace and other sites close to Madrid. You may want to attend a flamenco or
others shows and musicals in
DAY 6 (Saturday) – MADRID – AVILA – SALAMANCA
Breakfast. Departure for Ávila, World Heritage Site and birthplace of Santa
Teresa de Jesus. A Roman wall surroundis the city sheltering its beautiful
monuments. Free time to enjoy this jewel of the Middle Age. Continue to
Salamanca, the famous university city, one of the oldest ones in Europe. it
is also a city of cathedrals, palaces, churches of various styles. In the
afternoon we will have a city tour including the Plaza Mayor, Casa de las
Conchas, the New Cathedral, the Old Cathedral and University. At night you
can enjoy the lively atmosphere of this city. Accommodation in Salamanca.
DAY 7 (Sunday) SALAMANCA – CIUDAD RODRIGO - COIMBRA - FATIMA
Breakfast. Departure to Ciudad Rodrigo, short tour at this beautiful
medieval town declared as a Historic-Artistic heritage complex, where its
walls surrounds a rich heritage of civil and religious buildings overlooked
by the cathedral and castle. Continue through the Portuguese border to the
Portuguese town of Coimbra, site of an other old university and formerly
capital of the country with its cobble stoned narrow streets, houses,
palaces, chapels and churches. Continue to Fatima, one of the most important
religious shrines in the world after the six apparitions of the Virgin Mary
to three shepherds near the Iria cave. Overnight.
DAY 8 (Monday)
LISBON - OBIDOS - LISBON
Breakfast and departure to the beautiful white-washed town of Obidos with narrow streets and picturesque red-roofed white houses, sheltered by
impressive city walls. Our final stop today is Lisbon, the capital of
Portugal located at the Tagus River. Overnight.
DAY 9 (Tuesday) –
End of the Tour. Check out our scenic

Between November and March, Caceres is replaced by Cordoba with city tour
including the Mosque.
